Like many people starting a fitness journey, I started out going to the gym completely confused and overwhelmed; and on top of that, my eating habits stayed exactly the same. It just came to a point where I had to stop disregarding the two key components of weight loss. Proper nutrition and proper exercise were the answer, I just didn’t have the knowledge on how to apply them as a lifestyle. An on-again, off-again relationship with fitness ensued - yielding no results and driving me into further emotional confusion. Seeking a change once again, the research began.

Getting started with a healthy lifestyle can be overwhelming, even just to think about. There are many ways to lose weight! There is a boatload of importance all over the internet guiding you in a million different directions on where and how to get to start.

Keep in mind that whether you’re losing or gaining weight, it takes time. Working on gains takes time. Focus slowly on creating new habits.
